Yesterday our schools celebrated 100 days of school or 101 days in our case since the official 100 days was an elearning day. Celebrating 100 Days was started in 1979 by a teacher named Lynn Taylor. She chose 100 days because was a concrete idea that students could grasp and celebrate. The idea quickly spread and is now celebrated in schools across the nation. Our schools celebrated in a few different ways. Some staff and students dressed like 100-year-olds, and activities revolved around activities counting to 100. Due to snow/fog our first day back in the classroom was 101 days, so some celebrated by having lessons around 101 Dalmatians. Learning I Fun.

It's icy out there! Our buildings are closed today to keep everyone safe, and we'll have a live elearning day instead. Teachers will be on Google Meet beginning at 9:00, and be sure to follow your building's elearning schedule. Stay safe and warm!
Attention families! We will be dismissing students 45 minutes early today due to the incoming weather. Buses will run 45 earlier than normal, students who walk will be released 45 minutes early, and parents can pick up 45 minutes earlier today. Stay safe!

No decision has been made about canceling school tomorrow, but bad weather appears on the way. IF the weather causes a cancellation, we will be doing Live eLearning. Below is a link to the Virtual Learning Schedule. It will also be posted on the school website under Live Feed. Charge up the Chromebooks and watch for updates in the morning. Wind chills continue to be a problem! Tomorrow we will be on a regular 2-hour delay schedule. Teachers will not have a 1 hour delay. School will start 2 hours later than the regular time. For example, Ryan Park usually starts at 7:55, and they will start the day at 9:55 tomorrow. There will be no early drop off like there is on most Wednesdays with a 1 hour delay.

The 2022-2023 yearbooks have ARRIVED! The yearbook staff will be busy the next few days sorting and organizing.
Graduated seniors (or parents or other family members) may pick up yearbooks from the AHS office beginning on Monday, December 18. Yearbook staff will distribute books to currently enrolled students during homeroom that same day.
