During a morning route in Pleasant Lake, a bus while stationary was backed into by a vehicle. Immediately the bus driver reported to local authorities the bus the accident, and reported no injuries to; students, the driver, or the bus. A local police officer arrived at the scene to assess the accident. Following the officer completing an accident report and confirming there were no injuries to any students, the bus was able to return to its normal morning route. The first priority of MSD of Steuben County Schools is always the concern and safety of our students and staff. Thank you to law enforcement and MSD staff for their quick response in handling this accident.

Dear Families: To meet the needs of the many students who participate in summer school, credit recovery, and band and yearbook courses, the district will have students keep their Chromebooks once again this summer. With all of the anticipated movement as we transition to Pleasant Lake Montessori School, Chromebooks WILL be collected from students in grades K-4 at Pleasant Lake Elementary. Angola High School celebrated the Class of 2024's academic achievements last night at Seniors Honor Nights. The night consisted of the scholarship awards, top 10 announcement, and presentation of honor cords and stoles. The students earned a grand total of $1,023,586 in scholarships for their amazing hard work. Watch AHS page for photos in the upcoming days.

AHS seniors participated in Day of Caring. Students went to different locations in town. Some of their activities included spreading mulch at Friendship Park, clearing fields at AKL ball field, cleaning flower beds at Northern Lakes Nursing Home, and picking up garbage at Circle Hill Cemetary.
