In a ceremony held by the Steuben County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening, five teachers from MSD of Steuben County were nominated for the prestigious Educator of the Year Ebbie Award.
The nominees included Chelsea Alexander, Julie Clary, Jami Hubbard, Jennifer Marshall, and Emily Yoder. Each of these educators were recognized for their exceptional commitment to their students and their dedication to their profession.
After much anticipation, the winner of the award was announced, and it was none other than Mrs. Julie Clary! Over the last 36 years of teaching Mrs. Clary has inspired countless students, student teachers, and staff members with her compassion for others, and her ability to make learning applicable and fun.
A Chamber Ebbie Award is a highly respected honor in the local community, and the fact that five teachers from MSD of Steuben County were nominated is a testament to the passion that they are bringing to the Steuben County community.
