STARTING Today!
At Carnegie Public Library

We are excited to announce that MSDSC is participating in the 23-24 Speak Up Research Project for Digital Learning, a national initiative of Project Tomorrow. Since fall 2003, Speak Up has helped education leaders include the voices of students, faculty, parents, and the community in annual and long-term planning. We have partnered with Project Tomorrow to offer surveys which will ask about technology usage in our schools.
To take the survey, visit https://projecttomorrow.questionpro.com/MSD-Steuben

AHS seniors participated in Day of Caring. Students went to different locations in town. To the Families of Pleasant Lake Elementary--Now that the School Board has made the decision not to close Pleasant Lake Elementary and convert it to a Montessori school with ACE Academy sharing the facility, we are opening and simplifying the intra-district transfer process. We hope many of you will continue learning about Montessori and plan to keep your child(ren) at PLE Montessori. We have an Informational Meeting at Trine's Center for Montessori Education, Shambaugh Hall, tonight from 6:00-7:00.
We kindly ask that you complete one of these two forms to let us know your plans for next year by May 15.

MSD of Steuben County received a grant for$68,370.15 from the Don Wood Foundation to support the Advanced Manufacturing Pathway at Angola High School. By having our own AMATROL training equipment, we will be able to give students hands-on training with modern equipment used in our local industries. This will allow us to expand the certifications students can earn so students can stack SACA certifications to increase their employability and provide employers with candidates already holding desired certifications. Ultimately, these students will serve the advanced manufacturing employers of northeastern Indiana whether going straight into the workforce or following college.

On April 18th the Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring the 11th annual EBBIE Awards at Glendarin Hills Golf Club. The awards event highlights best business, upcoming business etc. This year, we have several āEducator of the Yearā nominees. We congratulate the following teachers:
o Amy Aldred ā Angola Middle School
o Chelsea Alexander ā Hendry Park Elementary School
o Emily Yoder ā District

o Tia Buch ā ACE Academy
